"A night of Z-list debasement in this interactive performance party inspired by John Waters with a destructive, carnivalesque vibe." - Time Out
MEDEAMA @ Vryssaki Gallery, Athens (2011)
As an artist working on this interactive performance, I was responsible for scripting and directing specific sections of the show. I was also heavily involved in the installation of set-pieces and artworks as well as the general running, marketing and budgeting of the production as a whole.
INVISIBLE CITIES @ The Art Foundation, Athens (2011)
In this installation-based interpretation of Italo Calvino’s text, I was responsible for one of nine rooms in TAF, Athens. In this space I conceived and installed a living image performance based on one of Calvino’s imaginary cities. I also compiled promotional materials for the event.
TALES FROM A HOUSE OF NO WINDOWS @ The Edinburgh Fringe Festival (2010)
"Beautiful bewilderment" ***** - Three Weeks
In the Summer of 2010, I led my own company in the staging of three original plays, which I wrote and directed based on devising sessions with the cast. I also acted as producer and company manager, handling promotional and financial aspect of the project.
SCRATCHING @ Goldsmiths, University of London (2008)
"Thrilling, erotic and poetic; Scratching the Surface weaves words, movement, music and visuals to create a disturbing and entrancing hour-long thriller" - SMITHS magazine
In my second year at Goldsmiths, I took the initiative to form Alchemy Troupe, an independent theatre company, with the aim of creative slick, innovative performance work outside the boundaries of the Drama & Theatre Arts course. Scratching, which I wrote, directed and produced, was our debut production.
