ABOUT

Having completed my postgraduate education, I am excited and open-minded about my career. I enjoy freelance work but am always on the lookout for employment opportunities. I have a strong base of skills as a writer and theatre maker but I also feel that I have the experience and disposition suited to roles in producing and supporting the arts. Having formed and managed my own theatre company for three years, I am confident juggling tasks and keeping organised. I am driven by collaborative environments but as a writer I am also used to working independently.

Pell and Bales - Fundraiser (Summer 2008, 2009, 2010)

As a telephone fundraiser, I received briefs on various charities and then spoke to their contacts in order to campaign for funds. I enjoyed the challenge of raising awareness and dealing with an enormous variety of people.

The Globe Tavern - Bartender (2008-2010)

Working as a member of staff in a busy London pub was beneficial to my efficiency and focus. It also allowed to meet many interesting people. My responsibilities included dealing with the public and maintaining the standards of the bar, cellar and stock-room areas.

Anglian Home Improvements - Customer Service Representative / Office Administrator (2006-2007)

During a gap year before university, I worked in this busy office where I was responsible for organising appointments with clients as well as being the first port of call for all complaints. Whilst this was a modest role in a non-creative organisation, I developed a strong base of administrative skills.
